BANIF BANK INVOLVED IN LEJLET LAPSI NOTTE GOZITANA
“Banif Bank is proud to say that, for the second consecutive year, it is lending its support to the organisers of the Lejlet Lapsi Notte Gozitana – this time by accepting to host an exhibition of digital photography set up by the most promising students from the Gozo Centre for Arts and Craft.” Banif’s Head of Retail, Mr Simon Grech, stated this when welcoming guests during the exhibition’s official opening, presided over by H.E. Mr Anthony De Bono, Ambassador to Jordan.
The exhibition is a hand-picked collection of the best photographs, all depicting a rural theme, taken by a number of students currently following a part-time course in digital photography, led by Mr Victor Paul Borg, at the Centre. By hosting the exhibition, Banif Bank, always with the interests of the local community at heart, demonstrated its social commitment and readily provided a fitting platform for students from the Gozo Centre to display their talents.
During Notte Gozitana weekend between 18th and 20th May, Banif’s Branch in Republic Street, Victoria, will be extending its opening hours in order to cater for the hundreds of people, who are expected to flock to Victoria, to visit the main attractions, and will be remaining open until 2230 on Friday and Saturday, and between 1030 and 1500 on Sunday. Bank staff will be on the premises during the exhibition’s viewing hours to handle any banking enquiries visitors may have about Banif’s products, although no teller service will be provided. Cash service will be available as usual through the ATM.
The exhibition will remain open for a further two weeks until the end of May and can be viewed during normal banking hours.
