Banif Bank presents donation to Hospice Malta
Banif Bank employees made a generous donation towards Hospice Malta. The money was collated through monthly donations made by staff members, topped up by an additional amount given by the Bank’s Management team. The donation was presented by Adrian Coppini, Chief Officer of Corporate Services at Banif Bank, during a visit to the Hospice Malta premises in Balzan where he was received by the General Manager, Kenneth Delia.
Accompanied by his team, Kenneth Delia explained the services rendered by the NGO which is currently assisting over 900 patients. Hospice Malta has recently extended its services to cater for patients with motor neurone and respiratory disease. “Our aim at Hospice is to provide holistic support. This can only be achieved with the support of professionals, team members and volunteers who work relentlessly to ensure all patients are assisted in their physical and psychological needs. Undoubtedly Hospice owes a lot to the generous public, and to organisations like Banif who are always willing to donate the much needed funds to support the works that need to be carried out,” said Mr Delia.
“We are the ones who should be thankful,” said Mr Coppini. “Your efforts to offer all the necessary support during such a difficult time to the person who has been diagnosed with cancer, as well as to the immediate family, who also need to adjust to the patient’s needs, are crucial to our community.”
