Banif supports 8th edition of the President’s Solidarity Fun Run

For the eight year running, Banif Bank will be the main sponsor of the President’s Solidarity Fun Run, which sees people of all ages and from all walks of life unite under the common banner of “One Nation, One Heartbeat.” All proceeds from the event will go towards the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation.

“Solidarity runs high during the Fun Run which, year after year, shows an increase in participation, enthusiasm and generosity to raise funds with which the MCCF can continue its important work and help alleviate the difficulties faced by those individuals, families and segments of society who are in need” said Karl Dingli, Head of Corporate Services at Banif Bank. “As always, the Bank will be lending its full support by accepting applications at its branches, in the build-up to the event.”

Organised by SportMalta, this year’s edition will once again start from four points – Rabat for the runners and Santa Venera, Paola Square and University for those who will be walking. All routes will pass through a number of villages and lead to St. George’s Square, Valletta and join in the festivities after the event.

Fun Run applications can be collected from all Banif branches, MCCF offices at the Palace in Valletta and the Palace at San Anton and MALTCO offices, as from the 17th of October, or completed online at www.mccf.store.
