Supporting BNF customers’ expansion plans in the UK
BNF Bank p.l.c recently achieved a significant milestone, having been approved to operate a third-country branch in the United Kingdom, the only Maltese bank to do so. This falls under the Bank’s long-term strategic objective to strengthen its position and reinforce its values whilst ensuring that the Bank is ready for future trends and challenges.
Forming part of the Bank’s Vision2026, the London Branch will offer the Bank’s customers the unique opportunity for assistance on their UK banking requirements. Guided by a team with decades of experience in corporate banking, customers will be provided with a tailored approach, according to their business needs.
The London branch will operate separately from the Bank’s retail branches in Malta, having a completely different role within the Bank’s service infrastructure. With a two-pronged approach, the branch’s focus will be assisting customers with their expansion plans in the UK, through commercial real estate, as well as supporting their growth through deposits.
Commercial real estate, such as offices, hotels, or retail centres, is a capital-intensive and cyclical business, and customers often require various financial instruments to fund their projects, manage cash flow, and mitigate risks. Through the customised and relationship-based approach BNF is known for, the London team will ensure they understand the intricacies involved, to provide the best service possible. The team is well versed in the real estate market, maintaining flexibility and adapting to the dynamic nature of the sector, to contribute to a successful banking partnership.
Our specialised team will provide customised financial solutions, tailoring financial products to meet the needs of customers. We will collaborate closely to understand customers’ business models and financial goals. Financing terms will also be adapted to match the project’s cash flow and expected revenue generation.
We also remain committed to a strict adherence to regulatory standards. In this regard, the team is well informed on regulatory changes affecting the sector and will provide guidance on compliance with banking and financial regulations by the Prudential Regulation Authority(PRA), within the Bank of England, and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Finding a financial partner for commercial real estate ventures can be a crucial step in the success of your project. Remember that finding the right financial partner is not just about securing funds but also about establishing a relationship that aligns with your project goals and values. At BNF, we aim to provide this, and more. Feel free to reach out, let’s get talking.
BNF Bank is striving to be the Bank of Choice for individuals and businesses in the United Kingdom, and is driven by the highest principles of ethical and social responsibility at all times
