The Banif Treasure Hunt rolls through the Three Cities

Banif Bank joined forces with Rolling Geeks for a spectacular Treasure Hunt on wheels. Each team rode an electric car and went on a wacky ride around the Three Cities, solving several cryptic puzzles while venturing from one site to another. Many heads were scratched and laughs were shared all round!

There was no shortage of eye-candy, with the treasure hunters enjoying the breath-taking view from the Gardjola, shrapnel marks on St Helen’s Gate in Cospicua, and the tight underground staircase leading to the cave-like Nativity Chapel in Senglea, all while negotiating the ups, downs and meandering narrow streets of the rustic localities.

Ten teams gave it their all in a mad dash to the finish, with the aptly named Navigators team emerging triumphant! “We’re very pleased to see this turned out so well,” said Kenneth Sacco, who forms part of the Bank’s Sports and Social Committee. “All the teams were extremely enthusiastic and competitive, and seeing everyone work so closely together to solve the puzzles is exactly what we wanted to accomplish from this event”. The Banif Sports and Social Committee organises regular events with the intention of bringing employees together outside of the office environment, to socialise and enjoy what Malta has to offer, while strengthening bonds for effective team work.
