Senior Administrative Officer

Duties & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- pledging Life / building Policies, Shares & Bonds;
- setting Bank appointed architects’ appointments, analysing and challenging bank architect reports & updating information on Bank’s database system;
- checking perfection of securities & conditions prior / post contract & updating information on Bank’s database system;
- conducting reviews of customers that hold House and Personal loan facilities & issuing corporate client’s extension letters;
- implementing and monitoring best practices that are issued from time to time;
- challenging existing policies and procedures and suggest changes and / or improvements based on first-hand experience;
- maintaining a good and healthy working relationship with all internal and external parties including the Bank’s and customers architects and other banks which strategic partners in the unit’s activities;
- knowledge on Drawdowns, Bills of Exchange, Invoicing Discounting, Bank Guarantees and Future Advances facilities;
- completing end of month Central Bank Reporting & other regulatory reporting;
- handling of Housing Authority Requests;
- ensuring that all proposals are opened in a timely manner once Credit Agreements are signed;
- keeping CIS updated with the relevant security & conditions information once proposal is opened on the Banka,; and
- updating Borrowers Index with declined & withdrawn facilities.
Competencies & Experience
The potential candidate should be reliable and trustworthy team player with an aptitude for learning, able to work in a dynamic environment, meticulous and organised in your work.
You must:
- possess at least a diploma or degree in Economics, Banking and/or Business Management;
- have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
- have banking experience especially in Credit Operations area of a Financial Institution; and
- be flexible with a ’can do’ attitude.
Previous clerical experience will be considered an asset, as well as proven track record of working in the operation / management of credit such as the handling of securities, perfection of conditions of sanction and management of loan drawdowns.
