Mark Micallef

Mr Micallef is responsible for the financial governance of BNF Bank together with statutory and regulatory reporting, management reporting, strategy and projections, investment appraisal, and taxation. Mr Micallef is a voting member of the Bank’s management committees including the Executive Committee, Executive Credit Committee, Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALCO), Investments Committee, and the Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) Committee.

Mr Micallef’s finance experience extends from Malta across international borders within the European market, such as the UK, Germany, Slovenia and Bulgaria. An auditor by profession, Mark is a Malta CPA warrant holder and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Before his role as Chief Financial Officer, Mr Micallef worked for Deloitte where he assisted banks and prudential regulators on various exercises ranging from financial and risk governance, business strategy, supervisory credit risk and asset quality reviews.
