Banif Doubles Fun Run Tally

Banif Bank Chairman, Mr Joseph Sammut, accompanied by a number of Banif employees, minutes after announcing a contribution to the tune of €233,030 to H.E. President Abela during yesterday’s annual fundraising marathon, L-Istrina.

Earlier on this month, Banif’s support of the President’s Charity Fun Run was rewarded thousands-fold when over 11,000 participants had taken part. Each participant had donated a registration fee of €10 and the final amount collected from  the Fun Run was then doubled by Banif Bank. This handsome sum, of close to a quarter of a million euro, is  the largest single contribution received during L-Istrina 2011.
