On a day filled with laughs, thrills and plenty of spills, five teams comprised of Banif Bank employees, families and friends took part in Inspire’s annual ‘It’s A Knockout’ contest. The event involved a number of inflatable obstacle courses and water-based challenges and gave the participants the chance to exhibit their speed, balance and, most importantly, teamwork! The weather may have been on the cooler side but the fires of competition burned bright as The Special Ones fought off the spirited efforts of other teams to emerge triumphant.
In reality there were no losers as Banif Bank joined other companies in donating funds to Inspire – the foundation for inclusion that provides therapeutic, educational and leisure services to persons with disabilities in Malta and Gozo. The sum of €3,000 was donated by the Bank, with a strong contribution from its team of employees who donated a substantial sum through fund raisers.
Overall it was a fun-packed event for a truly exceptional cause, and a big congratulations goes out to all the participants (some of whom are likely still sporting a few knocks and bruises after the festivities) and to Inspire for organising this memorable event year after year.
