Duties and responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- supporting the team in the life product performance by analysing data available to the Bank;
- interpreting analysis results and making recommendations;
- identifying and presenting innovative and creative product solutions, with a focus on digital banking;
- project management of product integration, launches, testing and changes throughout implementation;
- conducting a high level of critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing products;
- coordinating and building strong working relations with various internal stakeholders;
- leading the development, approval, training, and communication of new products/product changes and their associated customer, operational, system, and process impacts to various internal stakeholders;
- monitoring internal processes for efficiency and validity pre- and post-product launch/changes;
- identifying trends towards improving the Bank's performance and profitability by performing customer and competitive behavior analysis across all channels;
- tracking the results of the business against stated goals and objectives;
- keeping the Bank's Products Catalogue and Tariff of Charges up-to-date;
- being a reference point for product-related queries;
- generating monthly activity reports and other ad-hoc reporting requests to support business decisions;
- assisting in developing campaigns for Commercial Units and the Call Centre;
- assisting the department in developing project KPIs and overseeing the achievement of such; and
- performing other related assignments/projects as requested by management.
Competencies and experience
The potential candidate should be reliable and trustworthy, well-organised with a disposition to learn and have a team-oriented approach.
You must:
- possess a recognised qualification in one of the following areas- Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Management, Marketing, Banking or Financial area;
- ideally have experience in a similar role, however it is not a mandatory requirement;
- be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in MS-Excel or Power BI;
- be able to communicate effectively and explain complex matters in a concise but clear manner;
- be commercially minded and client oriented while safeguarding the interests of the Bank;
- be multitasking, target oriented and with good time management skills; and
- have an analytical mindset with an eye for detail.
