BNF Bank would like to remind our esteemed customers that they should never trust any electronic message which has supposedly been sent from BNF Bank plc, asking you to divulge any passwords or Personal Identification Numbers (PIN), or grant us access to your bank account details.
BNF Bank will NEVER asks our customers for information of this sort by e-mail or SMS.
Clients should exercise caution when receiving e-mail messages requesting them to access the BNF Bank plc website via a link. While BNF Bank may communicate with clients via email, including sending links, this will only occur in specific circumstances. For instance, the Bank may send a link when clients are enrolled for Internet Banking and need to activate their account using an activation code. Additionally, if a client requests the Bank to send an activation code, the Bank may include a link in the email for that purpose.
BNF Bank will never send emails containing links or attachments for immediate software installation or request personal information directly via email.
Whenever clients access their bank accounts through the eBNF Internet Banking portal, they are urged to check that the URL address begins with https:// and that a padlock is shown in the lower right corner.
